ATS-Optimized & Classic

Tech ATS Resume Template

Tech hiring is a keyword game before it is a people game. The recruiter searches 'Kubernetes', 'React', or 'Terraform' in the ATS, and resumes that surface get read. The Tech ATS template moves your skills matrix high on the page and keeps every character parseable, so the search finds you.

Below the skills block, the layout gives projects the same visual weight as employment — because for developers, a shipped side project or open-source contribution often says more than a job title. Single column, standard headings, zero graphics: the structure recruiters' software trusts, arranged in the order tech screeners actually read.

Tech ATS Template FAQ

How should I list technical skills so the ATS finds them?

Write them as plain text grouped by category, exactly as this template does. Skill bars, logos, and icons are invisible to parsers. Mirror the wording of the job description — if the posting says 'React.js', include 'React.js', not just 'React'.

Should projects go above or below work experience?

If you have three or more years of relevant employment, keep experience first. If you are early-career or switching into tech, this template's projects section carries your proof — you can move it up in the builder with one click.

Is one page enough for a technical resume?

One page up to roughly five years of experience; two pages after that is fine. Tracking systems have no length limit, but human screeners rarely read past page two.
